Privacy Policy

ReelMachine (“ReelMachine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an internal content-production tool for creating and managing short-form video (“reels”): generating hooks, assembling reels, and tracking their performance. ReelMachine is operated by Xpand Technology. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ReelMachine (at reelmachine.io), you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Google account information. When you sign in with Google (OAuth), we receive your basic profile information (your name, email address, and profile picture) to authenticate you and create your account.
• Content and media you provide. Hooks, captions, notes, uploaded video and audio assets, personas, sequences, and other content you create or upload while using the app.
• Usage and activity data. Actions you take in the app (for example, generating hooks, assembling reels, marking posts), and basic technical/log data needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Google OAuth and scopes

Sign-in is handled through Google OAuth. We request only the standard authentication/identity scopes (your basic profile: name, email, and profile picture) to verify who you are and sign you in. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or other Google data. Your use of Google sign-in is also governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy.

4. How we use your information

We use the information above to operate and improve ReelMachine’s features, including:

• authenticating you and maintaining your account and session;
• generating hooks and assembling reels from your inputs and assets;
• scheduling, posting, and reporting on the performance of content you choose to publish;
• operating, securing, debugging, and improving the service.

5. Third-party services

To provide its features, ReelMachine relies on the following third-party providers, and relevant data may be processed by them on our behalf:

• Railway: application hosting and database infrastructure.
• Anthropic: AI text generation (hooks and captions).
• Apify: public account research / scraping for inspiration.
• Higgsfield: AI media (avatar/intro) generation.
• Zernio: publishing and post analytics.
• Instagram (Meta): the destination platform for content you choose to post.
• Google: authentication (OAuth sign-in).

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We share only what is necessary for each service to perform its function.

6. Storage and security

Your data is stored on Railway’s cloud infrastructure. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing raunek@xpandai.com. We will delete your account data within a reasonable period after a verified request, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons.

8. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate ReelMachine, or where required by law.

9. Children

ReelMachine is intended for use by adults operating their own content workflows and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
